Family Fun in California, MD

You don't have to travel to DC to "Escape"... We have one right here in California, MD!  So you may have not heard of an Escape Room before..I promise it is safe! You will be “locked” inside a room with a group of people. You must uncover the clues, piece together all types of puzzles, strategize with your team to complete you mission and get out of the room in 60 minutes.  It is great time for all people. Family night, date night, day out with friends, pre-party time, corporate team building...escaping is always fun! You may be booked with other players up to the maximum number of participants for the room. If you would like to experience the room with your group only, you can book the whole room as a private game.



One of the rooms is Cell Block 99! Many years ago, there was an infamous prison escape. Six gangsters imprisoned in Cell Block 99 found their way to freedom! With some outside help they were able to make their escape. You have no outside help, but you do have the clues they left behind. Can you follow their escape from the past to make your own run for it? You have 60 minutes to retrace their steps and solve the puzzles they solved before the guards find you and put you on lock-down!



There is also the Moll Dwyer room! Residents of St Mary’s County have heard of the legend of the Moll Dyer Witch. In the late 1600’s Moll Dyer was a hermit that lived in the forest away from the other settlers. When bad things such as crops failing, freak storms, sudden unexplained deaths and freak accidents started to happen, the settlers blamed Moll Dyer. One winter, a group of settlers went to her hovel and set it ablaze. Moll Dyer fled into the forest. Several weeks later a boy found her frozen body. Her body was kneeling beside a rock with one hand raised as if casting a spell and the other resting on a small boulder, which had an imprint of her hand (This boulder is on display today in downtown Leonardtown.) Initially, the settlers were relieved until their troubles started again. Now you get to go back to her hovel and find out if she really was a witch!



Last but not least..a Christmas room! It's Christmas Eve and Christmas has been stolen! Can you solve the puzzles to find Christmas and save the day for the world? The sun comes up on Christmas morning in one hour!
