It’s not a party without memories! Make sure your guests have some Instagram and Facebook friendly selfies before they leave by setting up a photo booth!
Photo booths are super simple to make. You can use old boxes! Cut them up, cover them in colored paper of your choice, attach them and there you have it; a frame! Add cut outs to the frame for some extra scare. Want a frame you can use year round that won't get damaged? Grab 2 x 4, saw it down if necessary, paint and screw together! Add cutouts, wedding or spiders to the frame for last touches!
You can drape a sheet on a wall or use streamers and balloons as a background! Backgrounds should be fairly simple so the focus is on the people – but don’t forget the props! There are props you can buy pre-made or make some on your own with dowels and sturdy paper! Go for classic photo booth props like mustaches or hats! Feel free to go "full Halloween" by creating werewolf, vampire, witch or other Halloween related cut-outs! For props you can use cardboard cutouts on sticks, fun hats, or other small Halloween decorations that people can hold or use in their photos!
A spooky looking antique chair, plastic skulls, paper bats, and even simple carved pumpkins all make great set pieces for your photo booth. Instead of using a frame for the photo booth, you can set up a scene! Whether from your favorite horror movie or just spooky themed! If you are having a themed party, make sure your photo booth matches your theme and party colors!
A photo booth is a super simple part of any Halloween party, so make sure you set one up this year!
